A must have App for everyone!

Set up this App and leave it on your home screen - you never know when you might need it.

Children / Adults and the Elderly will benefit in the knowledge that should they ever have an emergency, hit the panic button and your pre-defined text, current address, and GPS coordinates in the form of a hyperlink will instantly be text to any number of pre-set emergency numbers.

Very simple set up:
Set your emergecny text (Or leave blank for default 'Panic Button Activated')
Hit save to phone
Select which of your contacts you want to be contacted in an emergency.
Thats it!

From set up onwards, just two taps will have your emergeny message and location sent to multiple contacts.

Why risk being caught out without this App.

An app for Cyclist, Runner, Jogger, who want to track their route and would like to share it on DailyMile. All this can be done in just clicks!

1. Press start to begin recording

2. Press stop to finish recording your track

3. Press 'All trips', select the topmost trip, or any other trip which you wan to post to DailyMile.

4. Authorize MyCycle, to post on DailyMile (this has to be done just once)

5. You can just press either 'Running', 'Cycling' or 'Walking' and its posted!!!

Do you want to record your tracks? You can do this with MyCycle

* Tracks are stored in a folder named 'mycycle' on your SD CARD, in the gpx format. You can even delete tracks if you want.
* You can view a speed-distance profile of you trip.

With Flu Correlations you can:

    * Interactively observe flu trends worldwide or in a specific region as far back as 10 years ago.
    * View web, news, blog, discussion, twitter, video, cdc web, and cdc podcasts published at the time and place of your data selection.
    * Find correlations between Flu data and world events.
    * Identify causative mechanisms and suggest locale-specific improvements in prevention and treatment strategies.

This app was developed to demonstrate two concepts.
The first is that simple, modular solutions can sometimes produce great yields (think nuclear energy). Consider also that this app can easily be altered to suit any data set, yet was published solely in the interest of Flu awareness.

The second concept is a novel one. The ever-expanding wealth of information available on the internet has yet to be parsed for correlations between media events and consumer health. Tools such as this one seek to turn medical research into an on-the-go, interactive experience that can take place anywhere, anytime, and by anyone."

Graph: Displays Flu activity levels for the given region and given date range. Place two fingers on the screen to select a date range and then double-tap to zoom in. (alternatively use the manual Date Range Button)

Country Button: Select a country from the drop-down list to graph its activity.

Region Button: Select a state / province from the drop-down list to graph its activity.

Date Range Button: Select a start date and an end date for the graph to display.

Max Range Button: Zoom out to the maximum available data for the currently selected region.

Media Buttons: Click a media icon on the bottom of the screen to open a web page displaying Flu-related media regarding the selected date range and region (if appropriate). Note that Twitter information has only been indexed from 1/1/2011 and on at the time this app was published.

Try it yourself: select a region and a date range that might correspond to a known event, narrow your date range to the time period preceding the spike, and see how quickly you can gather causative information."

Noispot is a social jukebox service with free streaming music and youtube support. With noispot you can:

* Listen to the same playlist with your friends
* Vote what song to play next
* Use it at home or Noispot enabled places (pubs, bars, cafes)
* Pick songs from our selected libraries or anything from *youtube*
* Share songs from the playlist on your facebook timeline
* Chat with people checked in at the same party

The app is for controlling the jukebox. To create your party and start the player at http://noispot.com/jukebox from any browser (including your Android tablet). You can then check in by party name or using the QR code on the screen.

After checking in you'll be able to interact with the playlist:
* Vote by touching the heart button on the right
* Listen in to each song before voting by sliding the item to the right
* Access more functions by tapping the item (facebook share, buying the song, getting more info about the song, etc.)

Be sure to create a profile, it makes using the app a lot more fun!

The app has lots of small and interesting features, which are explained on help overlays. These are shown the first time you see a new feature but can be brought back from the menu with the 'Help' item.
