지구 온난화와 환경파괴로 인한 대위기가 임박했음에도 이를 깨닫지 못하고 있는 지구 인류에게 주는 우주인의 경고와 사랑 메시지. 386세대 환경운동가이자 명상수련가인 저자는 어느 날 깊은 명상 상태에서 신비스런 존재와 조우하게 된다.

자신이 시리우스에서 온 우주인이라고 밝힌 그 존재는 지금 지구가 일촉즉발의 위기 상황에 처해 있다고 말한다. 온 우주가 알고 이를 염려하고 있는데 오직 지구에 사는 사람들만 이 사실을 모르고 있으며 이 위기 상황을 알려주기 위해 그에게 말을 걸었다고 말한다. 우주인이 전하는 임박한 지구 대위기의 실상과 원인은 무엇일까? 특히 이 책은 한국의 위기 상황을 조명해본다.

시리우스에서 온 우주인 ‘로운’이 전하는 일촉즉발의 위기란 다름 아닌 지구 온난화와 환경 파괴로 인한 위기 상황이다. 굳이 우주인이 나서서 경고하지 않아도 우리들 지구 인류도 이미 뻔히 다 아는 사항이라고 볼 수 있다. 다만 차이점이 있다면 지구의 인간들이 그 문제를 ’내가 사는 동안에는 별 문제 없겠지‘ ‘과학기술이 발달하다 보면 언젠가는 해결되겠지’ 하고 불감증적으로 인식하고 있는데 비해 우주인은 그렇지 않다는 점이다. 로운은 우리들의 불감증에 찬물을 끼얹듯이 이렇게 단언한다. 그동안 지구는 기상이변 등을 통해 인간들에게 충분히 경고를 주었으나 인간들은 알아듣지 못하거나 외면해왔다고. 그 마지막 경고가 2011년에 인류에게 주어질 것이라고. 지구 인류가 지금 당장 변하지 않는다면 당장 2011년 하반기부터 2012년에 걸쳐 가뭄이나 홍수, 지진과 쓰나미등이 전세계적으로 강도높에 일어날 것이다. 그로 인한 식량위기, 그리고 피크 오일및 에너지 운송 차질로 인한 에너지 수급의 위기로 인류는 이제껏 격지 못했던 엄청난 혼란을 겪게 될 것이다. 많은 이들이 이 위기를 깨닫고 서둘러 삶의 변화를 꾀할 수 있기를 기원해본다.

Bubble Breaker is an addictive casual game for your Android-based device.

The gameboard consists of a screen of differently-colored balls arranged in a matrix. There are five different colors: red, blue, green, yellow and purple. You click on any two or more connecting similarly-colored balls to eliminate them from the matrix, earning an appropriate number of points in the process. The more balls eliminated at once, the higher the points added to the player's score.

In the standard mode of the game, the game ends when the player has no more moves left; there are no more like-colored balls adjacent to each other.

The player has four unique game styles to choose from, including Standard, which is described above. The other game styles are Continuous, Shifter and MegaShift.

Continuous is one of the game styles available for Jawbreaker. This particular mode is similar to the standard mode, with one major difference. Whenever the player clears an entire column of balls, a new one arrives from the left side of the game board. New columns can be previewed in a small area at the bottom of the screen. As with the regular standard mode, the game ends when the player runs out of adjacent like-colored balls.

MegaShift is another one of the game styles available for Jawbreaker. The major difference in this mode is the addition of a new column of balls whenever the player manages to clear an entire column of balls from the game board. Balls will always move to the right of the screen if there is space for them to do so. The newly-appearing column of balls can be previewed at the bottom of the screen before they are brought on-board and they appear from the leftmost side of the game board. As with the other modes, the game ends when the player ceases to have any moves left.

Shifter is one of the game styles available for Jawbreaker. This game mode is similar to the MegaShift mode in that balls will tend to gravitate towards the right part of the game board. Unlike MegaShift mode however, the board has a finite number of balls and no new balls arrive to replenish the ones the player clicks off the game board.

Restrictions of demo version: every minute you will see a nag screen ;)
