Skulls In Flame is a Live Wallpaper.

In this live wallpaper you can set 8 different settings for the screen and low resolution phones also can obtain an optimal adaptation to the screen.
This live wallpaper supports the following screen resolutions:

240 x 320
320 x 480
480 x 600
480 x 700
480 x 750
480 x 800
480 x 854
600 x 1024 (tablet)

Many phones have particular screen resolution, thanks to this choice of resolution screen all the phones can get the live wallapaper perfectly adapted.

Also you can set the speed of the live wallpaper in order to obtain the movement perfectly adapted to your phone model

Another useful feature is the ability to move the live wallpaper on the SD memory card.
In this way, you can install on your phone all the Live Wallpaper that you want.

Question & Answer:

I have downloaded and installed it. How do I set it up as a Live Wallpaper?

- go to your home screen;
- press the menu button on your device;
- select "Wallpaper";
- select "Live Wallpapers";
- search and select for "<name_app> Live Wallpaper"
- select "Settings" to see the settings or select "Set wallpaper" to activate it.

Important:
After you have installed and launched the live wallpaper, if you want to change the screen resolution:
- Go to your home screen;
- Press the menu button on your device;
- Select "Wallpapers"
- Select "Configure ....";
- Select Set Size of Live Wallpaper:
- Then click the back button on your Android device.

System Requirement:

There are two requirements to use live wallpaper:

1) compatible hardware -- any phone that came with Android OS 2.0 or later should work fine. Anything that came with 1.5 / 1.6 may have problems. HTC Droid Eris, Hero, Legend, Spica, and their cousins are known to have problems, even when updated to Android OS 2.X.

2) compatible OS -- Android OS 2.1 (Eclair) or later can use live wallpapers

Do you like weeding through menus and sub menus of options to find the setting in your Android Smartphone that you want to change?  Ya, we don't either.  With Toggle It you can easily, quickly add toggle widgets, from one to as many as your Android device's screen can hold.

Once you add a toggle widget to your Android device's home screen it's as easy as pressing on it to turn it on and off.

Unlike the default Android Power control widget set that only allows for five toggle widgets, which cannot be changed, Toggle It lets you, the user, put as many different toggle widgets as you want on your device's home screens!


Current Toggle Widget Set:

Ringer - switch between normal, silent, and vibrate only for incoming phone calls

Phone Signal - turn off all telephony transmission signals, which can really save a lot of battery power

Mobile Data - enable to disable 2G/3G connectivity.  This is especially handy if your Android device wireless device plan is not unlimited.

WiFI - enables or disables the WiFi connection on the device.

WiFi Tethering - enables or disables WiFi Tethering feature on the Android device. (Android 2.2+)

Bluetooth - enables or disables Bluetooth feature. (e.g. Bluetooth headset use)

GPS - enables or disables the GPS feature (e.g Google Maps use)

Airplane Mode - enables or disables all signal, transmissions to and from the Android device.  Often used when flying, thus the toggle name.

Sync - enables or disables the Sync All feature. (e.g. if enabled will periodically sync all of the Google accounts associated with the Android device).

Auto-Rotate Screen - enables or disables the ability to rotate the screen via the related scensor.  (e.g. whether the browser rotates into landscape mode from portrait and reverse, or just locks into portrait mode)

User Set Brightness - this toggle widget allows the user, with a swipe of their figner, to adjust the screen brigthness.

Screen Time Out - allows the user to change the time that elapses before the screen turns off.  The values that can be set are 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 10 minutes, or 30 minutes.

Screen Always On - when enabled the Android device's screen will stay on until the user pushes the power button.  When this toggle widget is enabled, the Screen Time Out will be disabled.

Screen Brightness - this toggle widget allows the user to quickly switch from four different screen brightness values. Which include, minimal (lowest brightness), Auto (the actual lighting in the area of the device will dictate the brightness, thanks to the device's built-in sensor for such), User Set (this is the value that can be set with the User Set Brightness toggle), and finally Max, for maximum screen brightness.

Flashlight - will turn on or off the Flash or LED that is on the back of many Android devices, and set the brightness to its highest level.

SD Card (External Storage) - when pressed on this toggle widget will scan the device to a degree for files (e.g. media, music, etc.).  It also will popup a message stating the amount of SD card (External Storage) available, and the overall size of the storage.

Haptic Feedback - when enabled will turn on the slight vibration feeling the user feels when pressing on certain User Interface areas, such as the "soft keys" (the hardware keys, e.g. Home, Back, Menu, and Search) on the Android device.

Battery - shows the current battery level (updates on 1% changes) on the toggle.  Once clicked it shows the current status of the battery.  Clicking on the popup dialog's Usage or History buttons will give even more in-depth information about what has been using the battery, back to when the first devices turned on.

Volume - this toggle widget will allow the user to adjust five different device volumes (Ringtone, Media, Alarm, Notification, and System).

Waymaker gps (v. 1.2)

Waymaker is a map application that lets you see locations in a number of ways, and helps you do some useful things with that information.

You can see a persons eye view of either your own location or one you enter the coordinates of, or you can get walking or driving directions to your choice of destination from where ever you are.

If you just want to download the app and skip the rest of this text please check the very end of this text for important notes.

As well as the options already mentioned if you are a user of the KidSafe app you can also copy the gps or gsm text which that application sends and paste its content into the coordinate box. Choosing the KidSafe option will then show you a persons eye view of exactly where that text was sent from.

Waymaker has three screens, all can be navigated to using the blue arrows you will see on screen or by swiping across the screen in the direction you wish to navigate (only the map screen itself needs you to use the blue buttons).

Screen one shows basic status information, screen two shows the map or street view you ask for and screen three lets you select a map type to display or enter gps coordinates.

If you enter coordinates into the coordinate box on the options screen, or paste text from the KidSafe application, please remember to select your maptype AFTER entering this data :)

Back to the map types and getting map directions is very easy, just choose your map type (for example "walking directions") and then simply head on over to the map screen.

You will see a green marker, labelled B, just drag that over the place on the map that you want directions to and it will automatically download turn by turn directions for you.

The directions are at the bottom of the screen and you can drag them to the top by simply grabbing hold of the text at the bottom and sliding it up to the top.

This app should work correctly on any Android device with a screen resolution of at least 320x480 and version 1.6 or better of the Android operating system.

It requires a data (internet) connection in order to download the maps or street views you ask it for so if you have no such connection waymaker will be unable to show that information.

On devices with a slow processor, or a slow data connection,the display of maps or street views may take a few seconds longer than you expect and if you ask for a street view or KidSafe view of an area not yet covered by Googles street view cameras you will simply see a blank screen.

On such devices you will find that the blue direction buttons which navigate to and from the different screens may have a small delay if the app is downloading or displaying data.

This is not an application problem but is caused by Android trying to share the low memory and processing power fairly between waymaker and any other apps.

Waymaker should adapt to any screen size but if you do encounter any display issues with it please email so they can be fixed and please note this will not display properly on resolutions that are lower than 320x480.

Note:
This app is not suitable for low memory devices because the temporary storage of your current locations streetview images can use up to fifteen megabytes of your devices memory.

However the application can be moved to external storage, and has been tested on a 500Mhz phone with 38 Megabytes of internal memory free and while it did run in such a situation navigating between screens was notably slower than normal and the low memory did affect display times.

If you see no map on screen it means either your internet connection is off or very slow or that you have the auto refresh setting enabled.

Occasionally you may see an error message when pressing the arrow button to go to the next screen, although rare this issue is known about but so far has not been reproducible however if you click the OK button then it should perform correctly.
