Båtbussguide is your audio guide for the river busses in Karlstad. You can listen to information about the places you pass at the same time as seeing where you are on the real-time map.

** About the River Busses **
During the summer months you are able to travel on river busses and experience Karlstad from the water. The River Busses are operated by Karlstadsbuss. There are seven different routes that offer fantastic trips around central Karlstad and out to the archipelago. New for this year is this iPhone App with audio guide amongst other things. The boat trip is both relaxing and interesting!

** About the App **
Båtbussguide should be primarily used when you travel on the river busses. With the App you can lean back and listen to a guided tour of the waters around Karlstad in your headphones. You can see the position of the boat on the map on your mobile (rather like a GPS navigator in your car). The map is constantly updated via GPS and the audio clips start automatically when the boat passes each place. There are over 50 interesting places in the guide that the boats pass.

** Functionality **
« The position of the boat is shown on the map in real-time using GPS.
« The commentary starts automatically as the boat passes each place.
« A list of all places makes it easy to listen again to a specific commentary.
« Timetable for all river busses.
« All audio material is included in the App (to reduce roaming charges for foreign visitors and people without free data traffic). It is only the maps that are downloaded. The boats are equipped with free Wi-Fi (wireless internet).
« Continuous use of GPS in the background may reduce battery time.
« Works on iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4 (with in-built GPS).
« Available in Swedish, English, Spanish and German (as separate Apps in the Android Market).

Båtbussguide es una audioguía de los autobuses-barco de Karlstad. Puede escuchar explicaciones sobre los lugares que pasa mientras puede ver en tiempo real en qué lugar del mapa se encuentra.

** Sobre los autobuses-barco **
Durante el verano dispone de la la oportunidad de viajar en autobuses-barco y descubrir Karlstad desde el agua. Los autobuses-barco forman parte de Karlstadsbuss. Hay siete líneas que ofrecen fantásticas rutas alrededor del centro de Karlstad y por su archipiélago. La noticia de este año es esta aplicación para iPhone con audioguía. ¡La travesía será, por tanto, relajante e interesante!

** Sobre la Aplicación **
La Guía del autobús-barco se utilizará principalmente a bordo de los autobuses-barco. Con esta aplicación, puede sentarse y escuchar una visita guiada alrededor de Karlstad en sus auriculares. Verá dónde se encuentra el barco en el mapa del teléfono (de la misma manera que un navegador en el coche muestra la ruta por carretera). El mapa se actualizará constantemente con la ayuda del sistema GPS y los pasajes de audio, con la explicación sobre el respectivo lugar, se inician automáticamente cuando el barco pasa por allí. Hay más de 50 lugares en la guía por donde pasan los autobuses-barco.

** Funcionalidad **
« La posición del barco se muestra en el mapa en tiempo real mediante GPS.
« Las explicaciones sobre los lugares por donde se pasa comienzan automáticamente en función de la ubicación del barco.
« Una lista con todos los lugares facilita la reproducción de un pasaje específico.
« Horarios de todos los autobuses-barco.
« Todo el material de audio está incluido en la aplicación  (para reducir la tarifa de itinerancia de los visitantes extranjeros y de aquellos que no disponen de libre transmisión de datos). Lo único que se descarga son los mapas. También hay acceso gratuito a WiFi en los barcos (conexión inalámbrica).
« El uso continuado de GPS puede reducir la vida útil de la batería.
« Compatible con iPhone 3G, 3GS y 4 (con GPS incorporado).
« Se encuentra en sueco, inglés, español y alemán (con aplicaciones independientes en Android Market).
