Mit einem Fingerklick lassen sich Top-News ebenso wie aktuelle Videos und Bilderstrecken aufrufen. Wer sich für bestimmte Themengebiete genauer interessiert, dem bieten die Ressortseiten einen kompakten Überblick.

Android-Anwender können jedoch mehr als surfen: Die App nutzt die Benachrichtigungsfunktion des Betriebssystems auf intelligente Weise: der Nutzer hat die Möglichkeit einzelne oder mehrere Ressorts auszuwählen und sich über neue Inhalte automatisch informieren zu lassen. Eine neue Meldung im Ressort "Politik" landet dann als Nachricht neben den neuesten E-Mails oder Facebook-Einträgen.

Zusätzlich zu Artikeln, Fotos und Videos bietet die App auch wichtige Serviceangebote. Dazu zählen die beliebten FOCUS-Online-Rechner zu Brutto-Netto-Einkünften, Tagesgeld, Festgeld und vielem mehr sowie ein umfangreicher Börsenbereich, den FOCUS Online in Zusammenarbeit mit finanzen100 betreibt.

Ein weiteres Plus ist die integrierte mobile Suche. Sie ermöglicht den Zugriff auf sämtliche Artikel des Archivs – sowohl aus dem FOCUS Magazin als auch von FOCUS Online.
