最近、「短眠」(短時間睡眠)がちょっとしたブームです。睡眠時間を短くすれば1日を有効に使えるし、ひいては人生を有効に使うことができる…という趣旨のようです。確かに「限られた時間を有効に使う」という観点で見れば短時間睡眠にはメリットがあります。しかし、実際に短時間睡眠を実行するとなると、そこには大きなリスクもあります。無理して睡眠時間を減らせば、身体機能に異常をきたしたり、場合によっては生命に関わることもあります。
睡眠不足の本当の恐ろしさは、あまり知られていません。「睡眠」は単に体を休息させるためだけに行なう行為ではありません。生命の維持のため、そして脳の機能の維持のために、人間にとって不可欠の行為なのです。

This is a 3 in 1 application with 1) analog clock widget (with custom time zone and with seconds) - it is a customizable world clock widget  2) Live Wallpaper with graphical and text mode 3) Fullscreen mode
