„Golfführer für Deutschland“, das Standard-Nachschlagewerk für alle Golfer, setzt als offizieller DGV-Golfführer für Deutschland neue Maßstäbe. Konsequente Weiterentwicklung des über 1000 Seiten starken Buches, in dem alle in Deutschland bespielbaren Golfanlagen dargestellt sind, ist der “Golfführer“. Basierend auf den vorhandenen Daten wurde ein interaktiver Golfführer geschaffen. Hierbei werden die Vorteile in der mobilen Anwendung konsequent genutzt, d.h.,  der „Golfführer“ greift insgesamt auf vier Echtzeit-Datenbanken zurück, um jederzeit aktuell zu sein. Über eine komplexe Suche mit über 20 Suchkriterien können ganz individuelle Suchanfragen nach passenden Golfplätzen gestartet werden. So findet man mit der Ortungsfunktion schnell den nächsten Golfplatz in seiner Umgebung. Golfplätze präsentieren sich im „Golfführer“ sehr umfassend und multimedial. Eine weitere Besonderheit sind die aktuellen Turnierdaten, die in Echtzeit auf dem Android Smartphone erscheinen. Über die Applikation können sie direkt Kontakt per Mail oder Telefon mit jedem Club aufnehmen und sich online auf der Clubseite im Web ausführlich informieren.

The Amateur Emigrant (in full: The Amateur Emigrant from the Clyde to Sandy Hook) is Robert Louis Stevenson's travel memoir of his journey from Scotland to California in 1879-1880.

In July 1879, Robert Louis Stevenson left Scotland to meet his future wife in her native California. Leaving by ship from Glasgow, Scotland, he determined to travel in steerage class to see how the working classes fared.

At the last minute he was convinced by friends to purchase a ticket one grade above the lowest price, for which he was later thankful after seeing the conditions in steerage, but he still lived among the ‘lower’ classes.

Stevenson described the crowded weeks in steerage with the poor and sick, as well as stowaways, and his initial reactions to New York City where he spent a few days. Filled with sharp-eyed observations, it brilliantly conveys Stevenson’s perceptions of America and Americans.

It also provides a very detailed and enjoyable account of what it was like to travel to America as an emigrant in the 19th century, during a time of mass migrations to the New World.
