Measure the distance between you and some object. Aim with the cross hair on the object and press the shutter button. Move the mobile, aim again and press the button again. By using the accelerometer and some fancy math the app determines the distance. Use settings to switch between feet an meter. Try to aim precisely!

I believe that this has lost its relevance. Google has implemented tethering support into Android 2.2, and it is available regardless of carrier.

This petition was originally against carriers' ability to pull tethering apps off the Market, but Google's motive is pure. This app will be removed after a few weeks. Go Android!

A simple demo of accelerometer use in Android. It's just the Android Lunar Lander demo plus accelerometer control.

Land on the landing pad while moving slow and level, without running out of fuel.  Touch the screen to fire the engine, and tilt the phone to turn.

You can change difficulty in the settings.
