The Pediatric Anesthesia Calculator is an application for anesthesiologists, CRNAs and emergency service personnel who are facing pediatric patients in the OR, emergency room or on the street.

With this tool you will know all important physiological values for the particular age and weight of your patient as well as mask and tube sizes. All relevant drugs for intravenous anesthesia available in the United States are included with dosing information for your special patient.

When you tap on the blue drug name, a window opens with vial contents, neccessary solutions, resulting concentrations, weight and age - based dosing information and finally the dose in [mg] und [ml] for the patient data you entered on the start screen.
All the information you need within 10 seconds at the point of care.
Ideally suited to crosscheck your own calculations. Valuable in the emergency situation, in routine duty as well as at the unexpected surgery at 3 a.m. on call.

All information is based on current literature and guidelines. Please see the sources at the bottom of the application website.

Additionally I included the reviewed and validated POVOC - Score with the guidelines for the prevention of postoperative vomiting in children by the german Council on Pediatric Anesthesia of the German Society for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine and the guidelines on the Prevention of Postoperative Vomiting in Children by the Association of Paediatric Anaesthetists of Great Britain . There is no equivalent guideline for the United States.

As nobody can solely rely on the invisible calculations of a software, all the data the Pediatric Anesthesia Calculator uses is openly display. On http://8apps.org you will find every solution, the number of decimal places every value is rounded to and all the formulas resulting in the dosage guidelines, so that you can make the informed decision to benefit from this app.

**ABOUT**
Block Crash is a puzzle game developed for android devices. Remove neighboring blocks of similar color to earn points. The more you remove at once the more points you get!

**CLASSIC**
The original game mode. Clear a certain number of bricks to reach the next level.

**TIMED**
You have 2 minutes to clear as many blocks as possible. Blocks respawn after you remove them so be quick!

**Endless**
Just like timed mode but without the clock

**TIPS**
A good starting strategy to earn you the most points possible is to start by crashing the color block that exists the least on the board and then by crashing the second least common block resulting in hopefully one big crash to reach the next level.

**BUGS**

Originally written in App Inventor, with version 1.3 we switched it over to Basic4Android so that we could have use of the hardware Back button. This also make the app smaller and faster.
